Highlights of the sustainable Armani R-EA collection:
- traceability.: Transparency is one of the most important elements of Armani R-EA. A QR code can therefore be found on every item of clothing, which can be used to verify authenticity and to trace production.
- Local fabrics: The wool in the Armani R-EA Collection comes from the Italian region of Prato. In addition, it is grown with low environmental impact as no genetically modified seeds are used and because the soil is fertilized with an organic farming system. The other fabrics are also recycled from local textile waste.
- Biodegradable fibers: In the sustainable fashion collection, Armani also uses biodegradable fibers. An environmentally friendly process is used to develop the thread, which enables water and energy savings. The polyester and nylon fibers come from recycled plastic bottles and fishing nets.
- Certified packaging: In order to help protect the environment, Armani also uses certified, sustainable packaging made from compostable materials.
