The Global Risk Report 2024
The edition of the Global Risks Report analyzes a world characterized by accelerating technological changes, economic uncertainty, and two critical crises: climate and conflict. With geopolitical tensions and active conflict contributing to an unstable global order, accompanied by challenges such as extreme weather, inflation, and uncertainty, the report explores global risks amid this transitional phase. It highlights how governance systems are reaching their limits, presenting the most severe risks over two and ten years, addressing questions related to climate change, economic development, and technological competition. Drawing on nearly two decades of global risk data and insights from 1.500 leaders worldwide, the report serves as a call to open dialogues and constructive actions to minimize global risks and capitalize on long-term opportunities.
